To achieve these objectives,
The Fellowship Riders promotes a Lifestyle form of Evangelism
through encouraging devotional inspiration as part of the organized
group rides. An additional benefit is the evangelical impact of
Fellowship Riders through the Prison Fellowship, Angel Tree Christmas
program for Prisoners' Children or other mission projects that fulfill
the work of the local church.
The common bond motorcyclist share is the sense of adventure &
exhilaration that comes from riding. It's a mission field - Fellowship
Riders can build a relationship with other motorcyclists in your
Church or those who don't yet believe, by connecting through this
common bond. This is what we call, Lifestyle Evangelism. Building
a bridge through a creative connection by which God's will and his
promises for your life can be presented in a winsome way!
If
you haven’t been to one of the prison ministry rides you are
missing out on a great blessing, one that will change your life.
Dan Oldham and Mark
Martin have taken the “bull by the horns” and are doing
a great job recruiting people into this ministry. I encourage you
to try it at least once and see if God is calling you here. Contact
Mark
or Dan
for more information.
We
have recently kicked off the “Fellowship Riders Women’s
Addition”. A new part of FRL to help include the ladies of
our group who want play a larger part in the group. The ladies are
planning a number of things for the summer including a trip to Old
Mill Trade Days, Christmas in July and much more. Also a monthly
“Getting to Know You Coffee”. If you’re a lady,
please plan on getting involved with this group. Contact LuAnn
Martin for more information.
(Get together planned for March 22nd. See calendar for details!

here to see the flyer.)
We
have also recently started a camping group headed up by Barney Castro.
If you’re like me and love the outdoors, there is no better
way to experience it than camping out while on a ride. Best of all
it very inexpensive once you have all you gear. Contact Barney
and let him know you want to be part of the next big adventure.
Our trips are usually three or four-day events and are around a
days ride away. Too much fun! As I said before, you don’t
have to spend that much to come have fun.
