Angel Tree for prisoners children.

Welcome Them Into Your Heart.

NEWS!  AngelTree is almost here. Get blessed big time by participating!
Delivery Date: Saturday, December 20th.
Time: 9:00 AM - ?

This year we will be meeting and taking off from Monterey Church of Christ. We will meet on the West side of the church in the Fireside Room. We will meet there on Friday Dec. 19th at 6:00pm to separate the gifts and prepare for Saturday morning. After we get all the stuff done we will go eat if everyone wants to. Saturday Dec. 20th we will meet at 9:00 am and divide up into around 10 groups and deliver gifts until we finish our routes. Then we will all meet at a restaurant (to be announced that morning) around 2:30pm to eat and to share our experiences of the day. It will be a great time of fellowship and blessings. Angel Tree is a special time for the children of prisoners, but it is also a special time for the riders from Fellowship Riders. Hope to see everyone this year.

When your parent is in prison, so are you. Your heart is locked behind a wall of loneliness. Your future is bound by shame. But Jesus came to set the captives free. Through Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree, your church Fellowship Riders affiliate can bring the love of Christ to prisoners' kids in your community.

From Christmas to Christmas, your church can minister to the children of prisoners year-round by participating in the Angel Tree program.

In Matthew 18:5, Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." Through Angel Tree, you can welcome that child into your heart as if you were welcoming Jesus Himself. By reaching out to the "least of these," you can break the cycle that puts prisoners' children at risk of one day being in prison themselves.

You can help young bodies grow stronger. Build confidence. Heal wounds. You can help set the captives free.

How can you get involved? Contact the Fellowship Riders Lubbock and we will make sure you get all the materials you need to run Angel Tree in your Church.
